As a Jacksonville native and an avid reader for many years, I was introduced to the Indie world a couple years ago. Seeing the author signing events going on throughout the US, I thought, no one ever comes to Jacksonville. Right in that moment is when Book Obsessed Babes Author Signing Event idea was born.
Having just opened Sheer Bliss Events,LLC, my own event planning and consulting business in 2014,
drawing from my love of reading and planning, the event began to take off. I am so honored to say I was the first to bring an event of this nature to Jacksonville. No matter where in the US these signing events take me, our home base will always be Jacksonville, FL.
Our inaugural year brought in 50 amazing authors, over 200 readers and fans aong with lots of fun. We raised over $500 in raffle tickets that were donated to LOCAL charities. #bbase2016 was no different with 60 authors and 200 readers. I am proud to be bringing this event back to Jacksonville, my home town, for our 3rd year. 2017 is going to be even bigger and better as we expand! I will be hosting events in Jacksonville, Fl
on April 8, 2017 and Destin, Fl. on September 9, 2017.
